With the completion of the new Health and Biomedical Sciences Building II (HBSB), the University Eye Institute patient parking lot has relocated. Formerly, the patient parking lot was located in the Welcome Center Garage across the street on the other side of Calhoun Drive.
Parking in the new lot will still be validated and free for all UEI patients.
While we acknowledge that changing parking lots may be an inconvenience for you, we are excited for our new parking lot because it will be closer and safer for all. You will no longer need to cross Calhoun Road and can now access the building entrance directly from the new lot.
New Patient Parking Lot Location:
The new patient parking lot will be located directly behind the HBSB II (and the UEI) buildings. Patients will enter the parking lot from Calhoun Blvd.
The UEI will still provide validated parking for patients. The only change patients will experience is with regard to how the validation occurs.
**Please bring with you the parking ticket dispensed to you at the entrance gate, and a staff member Patient Registration will validate it. ***
We will no longer use the validation cards with the QR codes.
