Cornea & Contact Lens Fellowship

The Texas Eye Research & Technology Center’s (TERTC) Cornea and Contact Lens Fellowship is a one-year post-doctoral fellowship designed to prepare optometrists for advanced specialty contact lens training on challenging corneas with interesting diseases and dystrophies and post-surgical cases.

Ocular Surgery

The Ocular Surgery Fellowship is a one-year post-doctoral fellowship designed to prepare optometrists for independent surgical practice. Trainees will train with experienced mentors to perform surgical and perioperative care for conditions affecting the eye and related structures.

Community Health

The Clinical Community-Based Teaching Fellowship is a one-year post-doctoral fellowship which begins on August 12th, 2024 before the start of the Fall Semester. This unique optometric public health position will give the Fellow a competitive background for obtaining appointment with leading community centers and public healthcare facilities.
