Dr Earl L. Smith Professorship
Dr. Earl Smith has been an integral part of the University of Houston College of Optometry (UHCO) since 1966. In a remarkable career as a globally acclaimed scientist and professor, his work in myopia is radically changing how vision care practitioners help children see the world.
Five 4 FERV
Five4FERV is a giving initiative for UHCO Alumni & Friends. Designed to keep individual costs low, $5 a month is an easy commitment that aggregately contributes to necessary operations of the college. $5 a month from 1,000 alumni and friends makes a difference of $60,000 per year in responding to critical needs of the college. Such needs include emergency student loans, equipment repair/replacement, and more.
Community Eye Clinic
Founded in 2013 as a unique collaboration between the City of Fort Worth, the University of Houston College of Optometry, and the University of Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry. The Community Eye Clinic has partnered with support organizations throughout the region to provide essential medical and eye care services to our community.

PARKING
Parking is available in the UHCO patient lot – 2A. Standard parking rates apply.
LOGISTICS
Check-in will be held in the 1st floor foyer outside the TSO Alumni Center from 3:00 – 6:00 pm. A participant bag with an exhibitor list and materials will be provided.
