The Doctor of Optometry Program
The program is a four-year post-baccalaureate professional degree program which admits approximately 100 students annually; fall semester entry only.
The Graduate Program in Physiological Optics & Vision Science
The Graduate Program in Physiological Optics/Vision Science confers an M.S. and/or Ph.D. degree and prepares students to embark on a career in teaching and/or research in the basic or clinical science of vision.
Residency programs are available at the University of Houston College of Optometry and at external sites. These programs are designed to provide optometrists with advanced clinical training and knowledge.
