The Graduate Program in Physiological Optics & Vision Science
The Graduate Program in Physiological Optics/Vision Science confers an M.S. and/or Ph.D. degree and prepares students to embark on a career in teaching and/or research in the basic or clinical science of vision.
Residency programs are available at the University of Houston College of Optometry and at external sites. These programs are designed to provide optometrists with advanced clinical training and knowledge.
The Texas Optometry Career Opportunities Program (TEXOCOP) at the University of Houston College of Optometry (UHCO) is designed to increase the number of academically disadvantaged and/or underrepresented college students (US citizens and permanent residents) interested in entering the profession of optometry.
