All Class of 2025 students are expected to attend this meeting on the morning of Thursday, May 8 at 7:45 AM in Classroom 267 of the Health 1 building.

Ceremony

Saturday, May 10, 2025, 2pm at the Cullen Performance Hall

Students are expected to arrive between 12:30 - 1PM. Please enter Cullen Performance Hall through the doors facing the fountains. 

Anyone entering Cullen Performance Hall will be screened through magnetometers. This includes faculty, staff, and students participating in the ceremony.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony to celebrate our newest alumni. Graduates and guests are invited to join us for light refreshments as we honor the Class of 2025:

Complimentary parking will be available in the Welcome Center Garage – parking instructions can be found here: https://uh.edu/commencement/commencement-parking/.

Please note, parking is available for a fee in Lot 2A (Health 1 & 2 Buildings). Validations will not be available.  

Apply to Graduate

Students need to complete the "Apply to Graduate" function in their PeopleSoft account. This is required for the College to certify your eligibility for commencement and for degree to print on transcripts. The deadline to "Apply to Graduate" is March 21, 2025.

How to Apply to Graduate

• Students apply to graduate through PeopleSoft.
• Students log into MyUH.
• Click on “Degree Process/Graduation” under the menu in the top left.
• Click on “Apply to Graduate” and follow the steps

Regalia

The deadline for regalia orders is April 15, 2025. Regalia is ordered through Herff/Jones: https://collegegrad.herffjones.com/.

Tickets

Tickets will be required for all University Commencement ceremonies. Per University protocol, each graduate will be emailed a link to download six (6) electronic tickets beginning April 9, 2025. Tickets will be sent to the graduates uh.edu email address.

Graduates themselves will not require a ticket. Children two (2) years of age and younger will not require tickets.

If additional tickets are needed, students must enter a ticket lottery. The ticket lottery will open on Monday, March 24, 2025, at 10:00am and close on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 11:59pm. Results of the ticket lottery will be posted on Friday, April 4, 2025.
