Adjunct Faculty

Dr. Dinh hails from Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry. He then received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry where he received multiple honors and awards from his colleagues and professors in recognition for his excellence in pediatrics, as well as his leadership. Following optometry school, Dr. Dinh underwent an intensive residency in Ocular Disease at Cedar Springs Eye Clinic in Dallas Texas, where he gained advanced training in the areas of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and dry eye syndrome. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and maintains active memberships in the Texas Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, the local Dallas County Optometric Society and the International Gold Key Honor Society.

Marcus Gonzales,O.D., FAAO

Clinical Assoc Prof

Dr. Gonzales completed his OD degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2006. He then went onto to complete an ocular disease residency at the now Cedar Springs Eye Clinic (formerly Bridge Builders) in Dallas, TX. He currently serves as the clinic director of the inner-city charity clinic caring for the diseased indigent population. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Optometry and was named the 2009 Educator of the Year by the Texas Optometric Association as well as received a President’s Award in 2011. His interests are in ocular disease, specifically glaucoma and retinal disease.

Andrew Kemp,O.D., FAAO

Dr. Andrew Kemp graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2010 and the University of Houston College Of Optometry in 2014. Dr. Kemp completed an ocular disease residency at the Cedar Springs Eye Clinic in Dallas, TX, a UHCO-affiliated community clinic. Dr. Kemp is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and works with fourth year student externs at the Cedar Springs Eye Clinic and the Community Eye Clinic. Dr. Kemp’s clinical interests include diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, uveitis, keratoconus and the fitting of specialty contact lenses for a variety of corneal abnormalities. Dr. Kemp is a member of the Texas Optometric Association and American Optometric Association.
