The Lumera 700 Microscope is a surgical device used for the visualization and illumination of an operative area, specifically, for ophthalmology. The scope is designed and built by the German company Zeiss. The Lumera 700 is a mobile microscope with power locking system that can be locked and unlocked by the surgeon at any time during a procedure. The microscope and the camera are equipped with a 22” viewing monitor. This enables staff in the room to not only see exactly what the surgeon sees, but to follow along with the progression of the procedure. This model also comes with the Callisto Eye Option. With proper additional equipment, this scope has the capability of recording and saving one or all procedures performed.
