William Feinbloom Low Vision Award

This award is given each year to the 4th year student who has demonstrated outstanding achievements in the field of Low Vision.

A plaque engraved with the student’s name to be presented. The enclosed letter will accompany each award. Upon going into practice Design for Vision, will send recipient a trial set worth $1,500.

4th year student selection made by Low Vision Faculty (must have a student data sheet on file to be considered)

Zelda Schiffman Neuro-ophthalmology Award

Recipient is a 4th year optometry student who is in good academic standing, participated in Neuro-ophthalmology clinic, has good case extraction abilities and case presentation. Shows interest in the case and clinic, develops neuro-ophthalmology skills over time, has a history of composing a Neuro letter that is well written and complete.  Selection made by Neuro-Ophthalmology Faculty (must have a student data sheet on file to be considered).
