Given to (1) 3rd year and (1) 4th year student with excellent Gas Permeable fitting skills. Students need to have a student data sheet on file to be considered.

Ocular Instruments Award of Excellence

This scholarship is to fund an OPT I, OPT II, OPT III and OPT IV student at the College of Optometry who has demonstrated outstanding performance in the area of ocular disease.

Recipient must be in good academic standing and meet UHCO eligibility requirements. Selection is made by the College of Optometry Scholarship Committee.

Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award

This scholarship is to fund an OPT III or OPT IV student at the College of Optometry who has been identified by the faculty to be an excellent teaching assistant.

Recipient must be in good academic standing and meet UHCO eligibility requirements. Selection is made by the Faculty who are laboratory coursemasters.
