Lanny Shulman and Molly Moores Student research Scholarship

Dr. Lanny Shulman received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from UH in 1972. In 1981 he received the Doctor of Optometry degree from the UH College of Optometry. In 1998 he received a PhD degree in Physiological Optics. He is proud that all three of his degrees were received from the University of Houston. Dr Shulman conducts research and teaches at the College of Optometry and is currently on the adjunct faculty. Molly Moores Shulman is  a 1972 graduate of the UH College of Education. 

Criteria:

  • This scholarship is for an OPT student invovled in research at the College of Optometry for at least one semester after receipt of the scholarship. 
  • Selected by the Associate Dean for Research and 2 research faculty members.  
  • Recipient must be in good academic standing and meet UHCO eligibility requirements. 
  • Selection is made by the College of Optometry Scholarship Committee.
