The Family Practice Service provides complete vision care for individuals six years of age and older.
In addition to evaluating for common refractive conditions such as nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), and astigmatism, a comprehensive examination is also designed to evaluate all other aspects of vision and vision performance.

A complete assessment of both internal and external eye health is performed. Glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts are examples of some of the more common eye diseases that can be detected.
A professional eye exam can often reveal early stages of general health problems including diabetes, high blood pressure, hardening of the arteries, or brain tumors.
Vision Therapy is a program of vision exercises that are customized for each patient which are conducted at the clinic on a weekly basis with periodic evaluations and modifications provided by your doctor. The goal of vision therapy is to eliminate non-strabismic eye coordination and focusing difficulties.
