How to Apply

Completed applications with all required documentation should be submitted between August 1 and February 1 preceding the fall semester of expected entrance. The following documentation must be submitted with UHCO's application:

U.S. Applicants

  • Three (3) Recommendation Letters
  • Statement of Purpose
  • GRE (1150 V+M to be competitive)
  • CV(optional)

  • Signed Letter of Understanding
  • Letter of Financial Backing or statement that student can only enroll with financial support
  • $25 application fee(non-refundable)

  • *TSE (formerly 220, now 50)

*not required of students from English-speaking countries or students who have received a degree from an accredited English-speaking University

Countries exempt from TOEFL/TSE: Australia, Bahamas, Belize, British Isles, English-speaking Canadian provinces, Fiji Islands, Jamaica, Liberia, New Zealand, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Trinidad, U.S. Virgin Islands, West Indies and Zimbabwe. (according to official UH International Graduate Admissions application).
